Design of steel structures
During the design phase we consider various aspects such as
the intended use of the steel structure, its location, the environmental conditions it will endure and carrying capacity of the soil. We work closely with our client to make sure that the structure is designed optimally.
Proper planning during the design phase ensures on-time delivery. Our extensive knowledge and experience in the steel industry allows us to deliver cost-effective structural designs.
We produce accurate detailing drawings using CAD software. This is a vital step in the process since it forms the basis for communication between all the professionals involved later in the project.
Fabricating of steel structures
We manufacture all components according to the highest standards. Our fabrication facility near Brits, North West is well equipped to process large volumes of steel.

Erecting of steel structures
When we assemble a steel structure we place components of the frame into position on foundations by lifting with a crane or telehandler. Then we bolt or weld sections together, align and level accurately before tightening bolts and final welding.

Painting of steel structures
Our structures can be painted with a variety of coating systems in any color. Specialist coating systems we can apply to a structure include wear-resistant, corrosion protective and fire retardant paints.
Before painting we do thorough preparation of surfaces to ensure that the paint will last long. Our commitment to quality includes adding professional finishing paintwork.
Cladding of structures
There are a number of roof sheeting and cladding options for steel structures. Rooikoppies Engineering can provide cladding with corrugated steel and chromadek.
We also install insulation, ventilation, rainwater goods and epoxy floors.
Certification of structures
We can provide engineer certificates on completion of project.
